Our History

Bible Baptist Church, Mount Orab, Ohio was founded in 1964. The original church was built in the late 1960s and was expanded in the late 1970s.

In 1990, the church added a two-story Sunday school expansion to the original building and remodeled the original sanctuary. The gymnasium/multi-purpose building was completed in 1996. Then in 1999, the new 600-seat sanctuary was finished and in 2003, a new Sunday school building was built. A corridor connecting the three main buildings was completed in 2012. The church is currently developing plans for future remodeling and expansion of the Main Sanctuary.

On Monday, April 10th, 2017, the church suffered the loss of the original church building by fire. The building was a complete loss. Thankfully, the fire did not spread to the rest of the complex. The rebuild was completed in October of 2018. The new building includes a chapel, fellowship room, adult Sunday school rooms, and the church offices. Today the church sits as a 45-acre campus on the west side of the village of Mount Orab.

Bible Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church. We still sing out of the hymnbook and preach and teach from the King James Bible.

Bible Baptist Church, Mount Orab is a traditional, distinctively Baptist church and holds to the 20 Articles of Faith.

Bible Baptist Church is located in the fast-growing village of Mount Orab, Ohio, 35 miles east of Cincinnati. The future of this area is bright and the future of Bible Baptist Church is exciting!
